Welcome to my Website
Writing poems has always been one of my greatest passions. I grew up in Olean, New York, and have been blessed with a full and beautiful life alongside my beloved husband, Danny, as we raised our five children together and adore each of their significant others. Today, our family has grown to include 13 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and many others who lovingly call me “Mom Barr.”
This story is inspired by one of my poems, “An Old-Fashioned Christmas,” and reflects what the holiday season was like during my childhood—simple, heartfelt, and full of warmth.
